PrimeCare ABA Services is an autonomous practice professionally managed by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA®) and Registered Behavior Analyst (RBA), registered with College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
We provide center based and in-home ABA / IBI assessment and therapy services to the children and young adults diagnosed with autism and developmental delays. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is widely accepted to be the most effective evidence-based therapeutic approach developed to date for the children with autism. Intensive Behavior Intervention (IBI) uses the principles of ABA but with the higher level of intensity.

We provide parent training and coaching to implement the effective teaching strategies that are most appropriate for their child. It helps parents recognize many teachable moments in the natural settings. Parents take advantage of natural learning opportunities to empower their child to be independent in daily life functional skills.
Social skills play major role in the development for children. Some children may have challenges interacting with peers and adults. Social groups promote skills like imaginative play, games, turn taking, and more. Social groups are organized by following the child's lead. Our aim is to foster play, social communication, and cooperation skills to help learners understand the communities they live in and how to navigate within them.
Our individualized ABA therapy plans are created by Registered Behavior Analyst/ Board Certified Behavior Analyst and help increase language skills, gross / fine motor skills, activities of daily living, social skills, and more. ABA therapy helps children with ASD develop the skills to actively participate in activities at school or daycare. ABA Therapy has vital role in developing and improving social and communication skills at school or daycare. Our customized daycare and school readiness programs are developed to help children have a successful experience and prepare them for entry to school. ABA therapy support at daycare, schools and community is available to help children with following routines at home and school, toileting, participating in group learning activities such as circle time and learning how to play and interact with typically developing children.
We offer individualized school based ABA therapy programs to support children with their academic skills and school I.E.P. Academic skills include but not limit to: Core vocabulary, Understanding questions, Answering questions, Conversation skills, Reading and Decoding, Reading comprehension, Listening comprehension, Sequencing, Expressive Writing, Story telling, Perspective taking, Self monitoring, Math problems, Planning and organizing, Following Directions etc.
Personal grooming can be challenging for the children on the autism spectrum. We offer individualized programs for the child and provide parent training to accelerate progress in developing daily living skills. We help children to become independent in the self care skills including but not limited to brushing teeth, simple chores, basic cooking, toilet training, self cleaning, dressing up, hand washing, feeding and personal grooming.
A preliminary meeting between the caregiver and RBA/BCBA is arranged to collect the information through the interview and intake form. Following the first meeting an assessment session is scheduled. Based of the data collected through the assessment session specific goals are created that attempt to remediate any skill gaps and deficits identified. Assessment tools include ABLLS-R, BLAF and VB-MAPP depends on the child's needs.
The RBA/BCBA will collaborate with the caregiver to develop a comprehensive behavior treatment plan based on the assessment findings. We prioritize transparency and communication throughout this process to ensure that the families are informed and supported. This plan outlines individualized ABA/IBI interventions that will be implemented to address the child's challenges and promote functional skills. At this stage therapy dosage is determined.
Following treatment plan RBA/BCBA will set up your child's ABA/IBI therapy programs. our supervised team of therapists will conduct one on one therapy sessions with the child. The RBA/BCBA will be arranging any necessary accommodations or resources, and providing on going supervision for child's programs to ensure treatment integrity and treatment fidelity to maximize your child's progress and success in therapy.
